Mrs. Bartley’s Reading for Jan. 17 – 20

Since we missed Friday, today we took our spelling, reading, and English test.  Also since we have a short week and had to make up tests from Friday, we will not have a spelling, reading, or English test on Friday, January 20th.

We will work on reading comprehension and reading fluency this week by reading The Trouble with Parents.   Ask your child to tell you about this book.  It is a very funny story.  We will also review nouns, verbs, and complete sentences.

Math
We will continue with 2 digit subtraction with and without regrouping.  Please check over your child’s work.  Have them correct any problems they may have missed.  We will have a test over subtraction on Friday.
