Mrs. Bartley’s Reading for Jan. 17 – 20

Since we missed Friday, today we took our spelling, reading, and English test.  Also since we have a short week and had to make up tests from Friday, we will not have a spelling, reading, or English test on Friday, January 20^th. 

We will work on reading comprehension and reading fluency this week by reading The Trouble with Parents.   Ask your child to tell you about this book.  It is a very funny story.  We will also review nouns, verbs, and complete sentences. 

Math

We will continue with 2 digit subtraction with and without regrouping.  Please check over your child’s work.  Have them correct any problems they may have missed.  We will have a test over subtraction on Friday.
